What is the Structure of Prince2®?
The Prince2®structure is comprised of four steps namely principles, themes, processes and project environment.
The Project environment comprises of all the other three aspects i.e. principles, themes and processes.
Prince2® Principles – There are seven principles in all and a Prince2® project requires all of them to be applied.
- Continued business justification – A justifiable reason is required to run a project.
- Learn from experience – Analyse and learn from past experiences.
- Defined roles and responsibilities – Involvement of right people in the right task is a must.
- Manage by stages – Projects must be handled on a stage-by-stage basis.
- Manage by exception – Adequate responsibilities must be assigned for efficient work.
